Anna's shirt

I love Anna!

She loves clothes, especially PRINCESS SHIRTS. I think I bought everyone in Rochester and Idaho Falls that would fit her. Anna's favorites are the new light-up ones. She wore one of them to bed every night while visiting in Idaho Falls. The blinking light, however, kept Lydia awake. I don't think her mom likes or appreciates Grandma's taste in clothing!

In honor of the Olympic opening ceremonies held on 8-8-08 I am to fill out this list. Oh, here we go again...

8 tv shows I love to watch:
Eli Stone, The Closer, Sunday Morning on CBS, The Amazing Race, Top Chef, Survivor, Gilmore Girls re-runs, Monk.

8 restaurants I love:
Jaker's, Garcia's, Market Street Grill, McDonald's with Jack, Taco Bell with Anna/Tommy, Wendy's with Tommy/Anna (frosties!!!), any restuarant with "the girls," Jaker's again.

8 things that happened today:
work, took Jack's backpack to school, watched my new blinds being hung, laughed out loud at Connie's and Ned's e-mails, did the facebook thing, blogged Jack's first day of school, talked to Lydia on the phone, did this tag thing.

8 things I am looking forward to:
Hmmm...Minnesota in September, Reno in October, Disneyland in November, Minnesota in December, Florida in February, Virginia as soon as possible, a clean basement (give me a year or two), enjoying every moment at home with Jon

8 things on my wish list:
health, peace of mind, knowing all three kids are happy, staying debt free, having the house paid-off, staying close to my grandkids, moving to warmer climate, seeing my car make it another 10 years

FIVE THINGS ON MY TO DO LIST........1)Learn to do this blogging thing , 2)lose weight, 3)get outta debt 4)clean the garage, 5)clean the basement (ugh. now I'm depressed)

FIVE THINGS I ENJOY.......... Being with my family (especially the grandkids!), going to Disneyland, watching Reality TV--love Top Chef, Project Runway, American Idol, Celebrity Apprentice, Survivor and Amazing Race--you get the idea. I enjoy finishing projects!!!!

FIVE BAD HABITS........1)Letting things pile up--I think I must work better under pressure, 2)enjoy eating too much, 3)BS-ing! 4) Blogging 5) Facebook

FIVE THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME.........
1)I want to move next to my grandkids. They have to get away from Minnesota first.
2) My jobs (see below)
3) I secretly have filled out my retirement papers and no one at work knows.
4) I'm going to dye my hair the day I retire and then lose 100 lbs. so people will see what stress does (or did) to a woman.
5) My secret dream in life is to move into my current school district boundaries, run for school board and become my administrators' boss--the ultimate worm turning.

FIVE JOBS THAT I HAVE HAD
1) Bottle Sorter--first job given to every child in my family at my dad's grocery store. We put Coke items into coke cases, Pepsi into Pepsi cases, 7-up into --well, you get the idea. Then that product dealer picked up the bottles to be refilled. After seeing the things I witnessed in empty pop bottles, I didn't start drinking soda until cans.
2) Lifeguard at Aqua Plunge in Malad (hated Little League tournament time)
3) Librarian at the Oneida County Library (junior and senior year, made a whopping 70 cents an hour)
4) Teacher--32 years
5) Educational Consultant (not sure what this is but it helps with the deductions around Apr 15th.
